The Technological Innovation on Resource Recovery from Animal Breeding Aquatics Waste

Period of Project: April,2016- April,2019

This project objective is to recover rich phosphorus biochar and biogas from the synergetic treatment of animal breeding aquatics wastes by composting, hydrothermal, pyrolysis, and anaerobic fermentation. Based on the typical animal breeding aquatics wastes of pig manure and dead pig, the following contents are investigated: (1) Pig manure composting with high temperature and antibiotic degradation technology, (2) Conversion of hydrothermal liquid from dead pig to biogas by anaerobic and electrochemical fermentation;(3) co-pyrolysis of composted pig manure with residual organic matters from hydrothermal dead pig process to produce biochar;(4)Recovery of rich phosphorus biochar fertilizer. This research is expected to successfully develop a novel technical process to recover resources from huge amount of urban organic matters, particularly for animal breeding aquatics wastes.
