Recent years have witnessed important advances in the analysis of spatially referenced health data with the progress of GIS and spatial analysis technique. In order to make clear the underlying cause of the increasing disease in modern city, GIS and spatial analysis technique will be used to explore the spatial cluster of human disease and to identify the related environmental factors. Furthermore, samples of soil, water, food, and human hair or blood will be sampled in these sites of importance where health problems are prominent. Combined with the research of urban environmental changes in Xiamen, the interaction mechanism among urbanization, urban environmental changes and health risk will be illustrated. Based on the risk assessment and toxicological research, corresponding policy suggestion will be put forward which aim to decrease and prevent the health risk.
