Device detecting activities of full-size flue gas denitration catalyst was put into operation

Recently, device detecting activities of full-size flue gas denitration catalyst was put into operation with completely independent intellectual property. That means Institute of Urban Environment (IUE) has made a new progress in constructing service ability for evaluation and diagnoses activities of full-size flue gas denitration catalyst. This is another important scientific research and experimental equipment after IUE successfully developed the flue gas denitration catalyst regeneration device.

This set of device detecting activities of full-size flue gas denitration catalyst is adopted the design on the nitrogen distribution method. It consists of nitrogen making equipment, mixer, heater, reactor, flue gas cooler, and exhaust purification device, etc. The most great smoky volume can be simulated to be 200 m3/h, flow velocity 8 m/s, airspeed 10000/h. The device fully meets the experimental request for the national standards of the People's Republic of China of Cellular denitration catalyst (GB/T31587-2015) and power industry standard of coal-fired power plant flue gas denitration catalyst test specification (DL/T1286-2013).

Until now, IUE has established national first-rate, complete-indicator platform of technique for testing evaluation and performance diagnosis of flue gas denitration catalyst, including modern characterization instruments as advanced scanning electron microscopy (SEM), surface Area Analyzer, in-situ diffuse reflectance infrared spectrometer, physical and chemical adsorption instrument, x-ray fluorescence spectrometer and x-ray diffractometer, etc. Instruments inluding infrared gas analyzer, portable flue gas analyzer, ammonia analyzer, electronic mechanical press, wear rate meter and adhesion rate meter, etc are applied for experiment. Besides, there are one set of device detecting activities of full-size flue gas denitration catalyst, three sets of micro devices detecting activities of flue gas denitration catalyst and two sets of cellular catalyst abrasion experiment devices. Related detection methods have passed the metrology certification evaluation of the administration commission of national certification and accreditation supervision.

As a domestic earlier research institutions focusing on flue gas denitration catalyst technology, IUE takes advantage of its rich experience in scientific research and the thorough experimental conditions and has cooperated and developed nearly 300 technology service work testing and evaluating denitration catalyst. The number of its achievements ranked domestic NO.1 and it won user's consistent high praise.
