Content: Utilizing the physical, mathematic methods and economical way, the urban heat island conditions will firstly be analyzed. Then the mechanism of interactions among urbanization, urban heat island condition and global changes will be evaluated. Moreover, the strategies will be suggested to combat against urban heat abnormality as well as global warming. This study will not only supply basic data for urban environment studies but also improve fundamental understandings of urban sustainable development. Xiamen city will be explored as a case in this study.
