On the morning of October 29, under the guidance of the Organization Department of CPC Xiamen Committee and the talent work leading group of Jimei District Committee, the Institute of Urban Environment CAS and the Organization Department of CPC Jimei District Committee held the Environmental Matchmaking Meeting of University Industry Technology Alliance of Jimei District and Unveiling Ceremony of "Environmental Expert Consultation Group" in IUE.

Academician ZHU Yong-guan, Academic Director of IUE, Director XIAO Feng, and Organization Department of CPC Jimei District Committee, LIN Qi, second-class consultant of Talent Office of Organization Department of CPC Xiamen Committee, Prof. BAI Guohua, Deputy Party Secretary of IUE, Prof. ZHENG Yuming, Deputy Director of IUE and representatives of JiMei University, Huaqiao University and Xiamen University of Technology, and environmental protection enterprises in Jimei District, as well as colleagues from IUE and relevant departments of Jimei District attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by director of cooperation and development department of IUE.

Academician ZHU Yongguan delivered a welcome speech at the meeting. He reviewed the achievements of scientific research and industrialization made by IUE in recent years, and affirmed the innovative practice of unity and cooperation among colleges and universities in Jimei District, including giving full play to the advantages of scientific and technological innovation, integrating high-quality human resources and scientific and technological forces, meeting the needs of industrial development, deepening the cooperation among government, industry, academia and research, promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and serving the local high-quality development.

At the meeting, academician ZHU Yongguan and the leaders unveiled the "Environmental Expert Consultation Group", "Environmental Protection Industry Incubation Base of Xiamen Center of Industrial Technology Innovation and Incubation, CAS" and "Zhongke-Borui Health Technology Industrialization Research and Development Center" of University Industry Technology Alliance of Jimei District. In the future, under the leadership of academician ZHU Yongguan, the "Environmental Expert Consultation Group" will actively cooperate with relevant departments, towns and enterprises with environmental technology needs in Jimei District. It will help enterprises solve major technical problems encountered in the production process, help enterprises transform and upgrade, and serve the ecological civilization construction of Jimei District.

Five enterprises signed the agreements with the environmental protection industry incubation bases at the meeting. JiMei University, Huaqiao University, Xiamen University of Technology and IUE signed another seven cooperation projects with enterprises at the meeting.

Experts from IUE, JiMei University, Huaqiao University and Xiamen University of technology respectively introduced the project achievements.
