On August 15th, Secretary of Municipal Party Committee of Yancheng, Zhu Kejiang leading representatives of Municipal Party Committee, Municipal Government, Development and Reform Commission, Commission of Economy and Information Technology of Yancheng, relevant principals of Tinghu District and Yancheng Environmental Protection Science and Technology City , came to Institute of Urban Environment (hereinafter referred to as “IUE”) for investigation and survey. Secretary of the Party Committee of IUE, Cai Peng and Deputy Director, Chen Shaohua received Zhu Kejiang’s group. Zhu Kejiang’ group firstly field studied Full Size Denitration Catalyst Simulation Test Device in IUE, and Research and Development Center of Environmental Technological Industrialization co-built by Fujian Environmental Protection Investment Co., Ltd and IUE. In the forum, Deputy Director Chen Shaohua introduced the basic information of IUE. Then, Zhu Kejiang introduced the intention of their investigation. He pointed out that Yancheng sees a high potential in the development prospects of IUE, Yancheng possesses complete ecological resources and environmental elements, environmental technological industrial are greatly developed in recent years, stimulating local economic development. Yancheng has great demand in scientific research and technology promotion. Yancheng Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government greatly welcome IUE to regard Yancheng as industrialization base of transformation of scientific research achievements and will lent full support to scientific layout extension and landing transformation of science and research achievements of IUE in Yancheng. Cai Peng said, he appreciated Secretary Zhu’s high assessment and expection to IUE, wished relevant research personnel in IUE and Yancheng can focus on the future, look ahead and have forward-looking layout in the process of co-building Centre of Excellence for Atmopheric Technological Innovation Industrialization Base and Centre of National Filtering Material Quality Supervision and Inspection and also hoped that more research personnel of IUE will participate in the cooperation with Yancheng. Lastly, Deputy Director of IUE, Chen Shaohua, Secretary of The Party Working Committee of Yancheng Environmental Protection Science and Technology City, Zhang Lihua signed the cooperation agreement respectively on behalf of IUE and Yancheng.
