On October 18th - 20th, the fourth topic of National Key Research and Development Project “Key Technology Research and Integration Demonstration of Ecological Security In Urban Agglomeration of The Yangtze River Delta”, “The Technology and Demonstration of the Restoration and Conservation of the Typical Damaged Ecological Space In Urban Agglomeration of The Yangtze River Delta” (2016YFC0502704) initial meeting was held in Ningbo Urban Environment Observation and Research Station (NUEORS), Chinese Academy of Science (CAS). The meeting was hosted by the project principal, Ren Yin. Mission controllers and scientific research backbones from Zhejiang University, Nanjing Forestry University, East China Normal University and NUREOS attent the meeting. The backbones of the sixth topic of “Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomeration Eco Security Collaborative Decision Support System and Platform Construction and Integration Demonstration” (2016 YFC0502706) was invited to attend the initial meeting.
Each attending organization respectively introduced research basis and work plan about their project tasks. Financial experts specially invited to the meeting made an interpretation for expenditure use rules and announcements of Key Research and Development Project and answered questions of each participant. Project principals had an in-depth discussion with each other on the project tasks plan proposed to carry out and problems encountered, cleared the tasks division of labor and time nodes, deepened the project technology solutions, implementation execution details and laid a good foundation for implementation of the project and completion with good quality. Finally, three consensus were reached in the meeting: (1) Strengthen the collaboration and data sharing between project and task; (2) emphasis normative management including use of project funds, data archiving and process monitoring, etc; (3) pay attention to integration of technology and popularization and application of achievements.
