On the afternoon of July 4th, the grand 10th foundation aniversary of IUE, CAS and the 2016 graduation ceremony are held. The director of institute, Yongguan Zhu, secretary of the party committee, Peng Cai, deputy director, Shaohua Chen and the chairman of academic degrees committee, Jingzhu Zhao, etc attent the ceremony. A total of more than 450 people including on-the-job workers, the friends of IUE, graduates and the representatives of graduates' families atent the ceremony. The ceremony was host by Shaohua Chen.
The ceremony opened in the magnificent national anthem. Yongguan Zhu made a speech and appreciated sincerely IUERs (refer to all the staff in The Friends to Record), the family members , relatives and friends of IUERs on behalf of the institute. He expressed his gratitude to the leaders at all levels and friends from all fields who always cared about, help and supported the insititute. Reviewing the past, every development of IUE condensed hard-working sweat, unselfish dedication and innovative wisdom of IUERs, which all embodied the IUERs’ spirit of loyalty and endeavor. This kind of spirit is an intangible wealth which the entrepreneurs left for IUE. History will always remember it with full of respect. Looking forward to the future, IUE will take it for a new beginning, not betray the people's great trust and the IUERs’ expectation, take over the spirit of loyalty and endeavor, continue to compose magnificent chapters, make innovative achievements continuously for sustainable urban construction. He congratulated on every student succeeding in a special field of study after working hard and expected them to be grateful, keep studying and constantly improve themselves in the future. In the end, he wished graduates to have a better future.
The staff representative, researcher Yuming Zheng, researcher Run Wang, the alumni representatives, Dr. Li Xiaofang and Dr. Liu Jian, the familiy representative of the staff, Xuan Zhu, the parents representative of the staff, Jinhui Xiao, the graduate representative, Dr. Yu Yanke, the tutor representatives, researcher Changzhou Yan, and parent representative of graduates made a speech respectively. They wished that the carrerof the institute is booming, all the graduates academically succeed. In the ceremony, Shaohua Chen read the 2016 graduate list and congratulated on their sucessfully graduation and obtaining their degree. Peng Cai awarded certificate of honor for excellent students. Yongguan Zhu issued graduation certificates and righted the tassels for the graduates. After the graduation ceremony, postgraduate Association organized a wonderful art performance in celebration of the 10th foundation aniversary of IUE and the 2016 graduation ceremony. Finally, all IUERs took a group photo to marked the occasion.
