Prof. JOONHONG PARK from Yonsei University in Korea was invited by Professor Chang-Ping Yu to deliver an academic lecture “Linking Microbial Metagenomics with Environmental Applications” to all the students and staffs in IUE, CAS. The lecture introduced the applications and outlooks of high-throughput DNA sequencing techniques in the environment. Prof. Park discussed with all the research staffs and students in an enthusiastic and harmonious atmosphere.

Introduction: Dr. JOONHONG PARK got his Ph.D degree from University of Michigan, US and he is a professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of Yonsei University in Korea. Research Topics: Environmental Process System Engineering, Soil- Groundwater Bioremediation, Environmental Genomics and Microbial Ecology, Environmental Informatics.
