Prof. Robert L. Tate from Rusters University visited the Key Lab of Urban Environment and Health, CAS on November 18th, 2011. He was warmly welcomed by Prof. YU Shen, Deputy Director of the Lab, on behalf of all the staff.
During his visit, Prof. Tate gave the two lectures “Microbial Community Assessment in a Wildfire Impact Forest”, and “Soils Research, Manuscript Preparation and Publication: An Editor’s Viewpoint”, which provided very helpful advice on academic writing. The lectures were followed by audience discussion.
Prof. Tate is a renowned scientist in the field of Soil Microbiology, and is currently the Dean of Department of Environmental Sciences of Rusters University, and the Editor in Chief of Soil Science.
