From April 6-9, “the Sino-Europe Workshop on Urban Planning” was held in IUE. More than 40 delegates from Germany, France and China took part in the workshop and discussed issues on urban planning, assessment, design and so on. Mr.Christian Rumplecker, Deputy Consulate of the Federal Republic of Germany; professors from Rostock University, Germany, and professors from Paris University and domestic experts exchanged views on relevant subjects.

During the meeting, two agreements were signed: a Cooperation Agreement between the University of Rostock, Wuhan Environmental Protection Science Research Institute, and IUE; and a Cooperation Agreement between the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) and IUE.
