On Jan.7th 2009, Prof. Lorenz King, who came from Institute for Geography, University of Giessen, Germany, paid a visit to the Institute of Urban Environment, CAS. Prof. King gave a presentation on “Flood Hazard Assessment, Flood Management, and Climate Change Research at the Yangtze River, China”. Then he had a deep discussion with staff and graduate students of IUE. Both of us are looking forward to the further cooperation. |
