On July 14, 2008, Dr. Edwin W. Lee, from Consultant firm of Swanson Oswald Associates and a group traveling together paid a visit to the Institute of Urban Environment, CAS.
Dr Lee presented a report on “China’s Water Pollution Challenges”, talking about water pollution needs and technology approach, water pollution technologies available, low-cost appropriate technology, American experience with Advanced Integrated Pond Systems (AIPS), 20th century’s challenge and the need for change in directions for 21st century. Then he had a comprehensive discussion with staff and graduate students of IUE. |
