With supported by Wang Kuancheng Fund, CAS, Dr. Guo Mingxin, from Delaware State University visited the Institute of Urban Environment(IUE), CAS on June 22, 2008 and initiated joint research project with IUE in the next 2 years. On June 24, 2008 Dr. Guo gave a presentation on “Application of Organic Waste-Derived Biochar for Soil Quality Improvement”. He also had a comprehensive discussion with staff and graduate students of IUE. During Dr. Guo’s visiting, he will do joint research on integrated and innovative technologies for sludge and waste solid treatment with IUE.
