On 5 March 2008, the feasibility studies on the “Provincial Construction Plan of Sustainable Development; Experimental Plot in Tieshan Town, Xinluo, Longyan city” were held in Pingshan Building , Fuzhou.

The "Provincial Construction Plan of Sustainable Development; Experimental Plot in Tieshan Town, Xinluo District, Longyan City" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan") undertaken by the Research Center for Urban Ecological Environment Planning and Management in IUE was passed smoothly by the experts from the Office of Science & Technology in Fujian.

This demonstration was chaired by Zheng Yitong, Director of Provincial Department of Social Development. Cong Lin, Vice Director of Provincial Office of Science & Technology, attended the meeting as the leader of the expert team. In the meeting, Cui Shenghui, an associate researcher in IUE who was commissioned by the People"s Government of Longyan, made a detailed report of the "Plan". This "Plan" report obtained high praise from attending experts consistently.
