The first Xiamen International Forum on Urban Environment will be held on November 28-29, 2007. The forum will feature the latest advances of urban environmental research, especially the problems and solutions for China’s urban environment. Authors are invited to submit abstracts of papers before June 18, 2007.

This International Forum is the first of a projected ongoing series of meetings, held annually or biennially, to consider key issues relating to the Urban Environment. By inviting key contributions from leading speakers in this field and by structuring the meeting around small group sessions, the intention is to provide an expert focus on the topics under discussion and to reach practical conclusions that may form the basis for future action.
