The election of new members (including foreign members) in 2007 started on January 18, announced the CAS Academic Divisions (CASAD). The election runs trough the year from January to December.

January: Election kicks off

By April 30: Nominations close

May: Public release of the list of valid candidates

June: Public announcement of relevant information about the valid candidates

June 10: Considerations of review panels by correspondence begin

August 1: Considerations of Academic Divisions by correspondence start

August 25: Preliminary candidates are nailed down

September. 15: Acceptance of complaints against misconducts closes

First week of November: Plenary meetings of Academic Divisions are convened to decide the formal candidates and vote on new members

December: Public announcement of vote results.
