Organized by Institute of Urban Environment, CAS, supported by Chinese Academy of Sciences, National Natural Science Foundation of Chinaand German Federal Ministry of Education and Research,  Sino-Europe Workshop of Urban Landscape Research——Landscape and Environment Planning Workshop will be held in Xiamen from 6th – 9th April, 2010.

The topics of the workshop are as follows: landscape ecology and urbanization, urban landscape and culture, urban landscape planning, etc. It aims to promote the exchange of latest Sino-Europe urban landscape research and to seek further possible cooperation in this field.

About40 overseas and native researchers will be invited for exchanges in urban landscape research, 15 of them comes from Europe. For the present, many famous researchers and scholars have accepted the invitation and will give presentations for the workshop (see the appendix).
