Recently, Xiamen Bureau of Sci and Xiamen Bureau of Finance co-announced 2016 annual evaluation results of Xiamen Engineering Centres. There are totally 68 Engineering Centres participating in the evaluation. Thereinto, the evaluation grades of 14 Engineerting Centres are excellent. Xiamen Engineering Centre for Water Safety and Water Quality Bureau of Sci relied on IUE is assessed to be excellent, which ranks third on the list and ranks first on the list of Engineering Centre of colleges and universities and scientific research institutions. This is the third time that the centre has obtained excellent grade from its foundation in 2009, which reflects that IUE possesses rather strong research and development strength on environmental evaluation and restoration of urban water, drinking water and sewage, reclaimed water treatment and water quality control, etc and makes contribution for Xiamen water environmental protection work.
