From August 25^th to 27^th, Academic seminar of contaminated sites risk evaluation was organized to convened by IUE, CAS. And the research achievement of national 863 project tasks(2013AA06A211) “Contaminated sites risk recognition system based on GIS technology”, “contaminated sites risk identification service platform”was introduced. The seminar was hosted by researcher Shen Yu. Related institutes of contaminated sites recovery in our country and enterprise representatives working in this career attent the seminar, including 22 organization, Institute of Soil Science, CAS, Beijing Municipa Research Institute of Environmental protection, Shanghai Academy of Environmental Sciences and Guangdong Province of Environmental Science, etc. The seminar invited relevant experts to share national and local standards application experience, case practice and thinking of pollutional sites risk evalution and deeply discuss on relevant issues. The regional adaptability of national pollution risk evaluation guideline, field investigation scheme and the effect and optimizing sampling method were mainly discussed. They exchanged views on many hotspots and difficult problems existed in the current pollution site remediation and discussed the cooperation in the field of contaminated site remediation, etc.
