Prof. Brajesh Singh from the University of Western Sydney visited IUE and will work here from May 19 to June 18, 2014, sponsored by Chinese Academy of Sciences Visiting Professorship for Senior International Scientists. He gave a speech entitled microbial diversity and ecosystem functions: significance, size and shape on May 27 and exchanged ideas on relevant issues with attendees. During his visit, Prof. Singh will carry out research on influences of global climate change upon elements cycle in underground ecosystem and microbial mechanism with IUE staff.
