Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China,Member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee, and National Vice Chairman, inspected the Institute of Urban Environment, CAS, accompanied by Sun Chunlan, Secretary of Fujian Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Yu Weiguo, Secretary of Xiamen Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China.

Yongguan Zhu, Director General of IUE, reported to Xi Jinping about the Institute’s construction, talented workforce, disciplinesand scientific achievements. Afterwards, Xi visited the Environmental Engineering labs, chatted with research staff and took photos with them.
