The Graduation of the first Master and Doctoral Graduates, together with the Celebration of the Fourth Anniversary of IUE Establishment, was held in IUE on the afternoon of July 2nd. All the staff and students attended this graduation, which was hosted by Director Assistant Shaohua Chen. Student Representative Wei Wang and Supervisor Representative Changping Yu each delivered a speech on behalf of students and supervisors, respectively. Secretary of the Party Committee Jingzhu Zhao also made a touching lecture. He looked back on the past four years’ development of IUE and gave all the graduates his heartfelt advice and best wishes. He hoped that every graduate would go on working hard, making new friends and having a grateful heart. After the graduation, all the graduates took pictures with their supervisors.

In the evening, the Celebration of the Fourth Anniversary of IUE Establishment began on the second floor of canteen. The performances were all very entertaining and well-received, and afterwards the winners of the Fourth Innovative Culture Competition were unveiled. Everyone really enjoyed themselves, hoping that IUE would go on to even greater success.
