Dr. Guang Zhao, from the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, USA, visited IUE on June 17 at the invitation of Prof. Jingzhu Zhao, Director of IUE. Dr Zhao gave a speech entitled “Institute of Urban Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences—the gate to the future of the world” and conducted academic exchanges with the research staff of IUE during his visit.

Dr. Guang Zhao was previously a researcher of the CAS High-level Talents Project, a Doctoral Supervisor and a Senior Consultant of the Chinese Forestry Administration. Now he is Bureau Director of the Office of Public Health Statistics and Information Services in the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.
