On 7th May, Merrick Davidson, the Regional Manager for East Asia in the Australian Youth Ambassador for Development Program visited the IUE. The Australian Youth Ambassadors for Development program (AYAD) places skilled young Australian volunteers, aged 18-30, on short-term assignments of between 3-12 months, in developing countries throughout the Asia Pacific region. The program offers young people a wonderful opportunity to contribute to development while at the same time learning about other cultures. Scott Cameron is the first youth ambassadors working in our institute.  Prof. Jingzhu Zhao, the supervisor of the youth ambassador gave a warm welcome to the guests and discussed the possibility of partnership between IUE and the AYAD Program in the coming years.
