Prof. Dongsheng Yan, Academician of CAS and CAE, former Secretary and vice President of CAS, invited by the Director Jingzhu Zhao, inspected IUE on January 4, 2008.

Prof. Yan visited the new building of IUE accompanied with Professor Zhao. Prof. Zhao introduced the long-term planning and the current situation of IUE. Prof. Yan fully affirmed the current work, gave important suggestion on the future development of IUE, and inscribed: "loyalty ? duties --congratulations to the successfully building of IUE, CAS."
