Academician of the CAE, Prof. Jiming Hao, from Tsinghua University, invited by Prof. Jingzhu Zhao, made a special trip to visit IUE and had a discussion with the research strategies of IUE on January 2, 2008.

Firstly, Prof. Zhao showed warm welcome and a brief introduction about the progress in the construction and long-term planning of IUE. Then the guest visited the laboratory. Prof. Hao took a pleasure talk on the cutting edge and emphasis of current atmospheric environment with the researchers related to atmospheric environment,. Finally, he gave great suggestions on future development of IUE.
