
The Logistics Support Department is a management department responsible for the Institute’s capital construction, asset management of campus buildings and furniture, renovation and maintenance of building facilities and equipment, property management, canteen management, safety and stability work, as well as logistics support services. Its main responsibilities are as follows:
1. Be responsible for the campus planning and capital construction of the Institute, including the whole-process management of new project planning and design, project initiation and approval, organization and implementation, as well as completion acceptance.
2. Undertake the whole-process management of application, construction and implementation of building renovation and infrastructure improvement projects.
3. Organize the application and implementation of projects such as 3H Construction and safety guarantee.
4. Organize the implementation and management of special renovation projects supporting campus public facilities and equipment as well as scientific research installations.
5. Be responsible for the daily maintenance and emergency disposal of important facilities and equipment of the Institute such as buildings, green vegetation, and water, electricity and network systems.
6. Comprehensively plan the allocation and daily management of the Institute’s real estate, settle and collect relevant fees for buildings, water, electricity, network and materials; undertake the procurement and management of materials such as public furniture, electrical appliances and office supplies.
7. Be responsible for the maintenance and management of systems related to logistics support services including campus and building monitoring, access control, smart door lock systems, gate barrier systems, smart canteens and smart campuses.
8. Undertake the planning, construction, operation and maintenance of network and telephone infrastructure, as well as the allocation and management of resources such as telephone communications, IP addresses and mailboxes.
9. Be responsible for the supervision and management of the canteen and property services, and act as the Institute’s owner representative to coordinate and supervise the performance of contracts and the provision of entrusted services.
10. Perform the duties of the Office of the Work Safety Committee, comprehensively coordinate the Institute’s daily safety and stability work, and guide, supervise and inspect the implementation of safety management work by all departments and research teams on the campus.
11. Be responsible for emergency disposal work such as typhoon and flood prevention, and safety and stability maintenance.
12. Undertake the management of the Institute’s motor pool and vehicles to guarantee official transportation for confidential work, scientific research, management and meetings.
13. Complete other tasks assigned by the leaders.
