
The Human Resources Department (HR Department for short) coordinates and administers the Institute’s human resources management and development, the competition recruitment and management of middle-level leading personnel, as well as services for retired staff and other related work. Its main responsibilities are as follows:
1. Formulate and implement the human resources plan of the Institute.
2. Be responsible for formulating the establishment plan of the Institute’s organizations and positions.
3. Undertake the assessment, evaluation and performance management of staff in all types of positions of the Institute.
4. Administer staff salaries, welfare benefits and various types of insurance.
5. Be in charge of personnel archives, the maintenance of the human resources management system and the statistics of personnel information.
6. Organize, apply for and conduct the whole-process management of various talent program projects.
7. Undertake the team building of the Institute’s middle-level leading personnel.
8. Be responsible for talent mobility, personnel agency services, staff part-time employment administration, as well as continuing education and training management.
9. Provide supporting services for the introduction of high-level talents.
10. Undertake the services and management of academicians, senior visiting scholars, adjunct professors, postdoctoral researchers and other such personnel.
11. Be responsible for staff physical examinations and medical care, as well as the management and services for retired staff.
12. Assist higher-level organizational departments in the assessment and daily management of the Institute’s leading team.
13. Undertake or assist higher-level departments in the secondment and management of cadres.
14. Complete other tasks assigned by the leaders.
